Enzymatic treatment that finds and eliminates urine contamination below the surface — where the odor actually lives — instead of masking it.

Pet accidents require more than surface cleaning. Urine can penetrate the carpet backing and pad, creating lingering odors and permanent stains if untreated. We use specialized enzymatic cleaners that break down urine crystals at the molecular level, completely eliminating the source of the odor rather than covering it.
The reason a spot keeps smelling after it has been cleaned is that only the top of the contamination was ever reached. Urine spreads outward as it soaks down, so the stain you can see on the surface is typically much smaller than the contamination underneath it. Cleaning the visible spot removes the evidence and leaves the problem.
We start with UV light detection to map the actual extent of the contamination, including old accidents nobody remembers. That tells us how far to treat and whether the pad itself is involved. Households with multiple pets, or a house bought from previous owners who had them, are the usual candidates for this.
The process
How pet stain & odor treatment works with us
Same clear process on every job — diagnosis first, written price before work starts.
Pre-inspection & fiber ID
We walk the job with you, identify the carpet or fabric type, and test for colorfastness before a single drop of solution goes down. That is what determines the method, the chemistry, and the moisture level we use.
Deep vacuum & pre-condition
Dry soil comes out first — it is most of what is in your carpet. Then traffic lanes and spots get a targeted pre-conditioning treatment and dwell time so the soil is broken down before extraction, not smeared around by it.
Hot water extraction & rinse
High-performance extraction flushes the fibers with hot water and pulls the dirty solution straight back out in the same pass. Stubborn spots get individually treated rather than written off as permanent.
Speed dry & walkthrough
We groom the pile and run speed-drying so you are back on your floors quickly, then walk the job with you. We don't pack up until you are completely thrilled with the results.

Pet Stain & Odor Treatment
Why enzymes and not deodorizer
Deodorizers add a scent on top of an odor; enzymes destroy the compound producing it. Urine crystallizes as it dries, and those crystals reactivate and smell every time humidity rises — which is why a spot that seemed fine in January is noticeable again in July. Enzymatic treatment breaks the crystals down so there is nothing left to reactivate.
This takes dwell time. An enzyme treatment that is applied and immediately extracted has not had a chance to work. Doing it properly is slower than doing it quickly, and that is the whole difference in the result.

Pet Stain & Odor Treatment
When the pad has to come up
Sometimes contamination has gone through the carpet, through the pad and into the subfloor. In those cases sub-surface extraction alone will not fully resolve it, and we will tell you plainly that the pad needs replacing in that area rather than take your money for a treatment that cannot succeed. Knowing which situation you are in is what the UV inspection is for.
